with Gary May

"The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination."

Meet Gary

Qualified Therapist & Counsellor

Gary discovered the benefits of being outside during his adventures Hiking, Camping and exploring,

Experiencing both first hand and through social groups, that doing something outdoors, such as Hiking and Walking, can have a positive change upon a persons Mental Health. This led him to create a form of therapy which provides the support, whilst enjoying nature.

Gary practices Walk & Talk Counselling in the Nantwich and Cheshire area, where clients are able to discover themselves at a deeper level, thanks to the proven benefits of being in the outdoors.

Gary also provides Video Counselling, for clients unable to attend sessions in person. These allow clients the same level of support, but without the need to leave their own home.

“Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know.”

Pema Chödrön

“Through sessions with Gary, I was able to identify learned behaviours and reactions, helping me understand where my behaviours came from and the coping mechanisms I had developed. Through what feels like a rebirth, I was able to get myself back to the person I deserve to be. This has helped not only my relationships with others, but most importantly the relationship I have with myself.”

- Damon

“We had become stuck in a rut with our relationship, feeling it was over. Gary helped us understand techniques to resolve conflicts and create better communication. Our marriage has been given a refresh and reset!”

- Steven & Rachel

“I was nervous about starting therapy, as its not something many men do. Gary made me feel comfortable to share my feelings without me feeling embarrassed or ashamed. I now encourage mates to go to therapy!”

- David
